도시를 터전 삼아 살아가면서 일상적으로 마주치는 사람들과의 만남, 그리고 도시 이면의 모습에 얽힌 기억과 관계에 관한 이야기를 들려주고자 한다. 일상의 현상과 존재하는 구조들에 대한 관찰, 그 안에서 발견된 사회적 차이를 시각적 언어로 소통한다. 일상적 공간에 대한 허구적 재현과 허구와 실재를 넘나드는 퍼포먼스를 통해 사람들의 참여를 유도하는 작업을 진행하고 있다.

박혜민은 이화여대 회화•판화과를 졸업하고 런던 첼시 컬리지 오브 아트 앤 디자인에서 순수예술 석사를 마쳤다. <보통의 국가들>(스페이스55, 서울, 2019), <떠남의 기술, 머무름의 기술>(스페이스캔, 서울, 2016), <IKEA>(송은아트큐브, 서울, 2012) 등 한국, 영국에서 개인전을 가졌고, <Imagining Cities Beyond Technology 2.0>(송은아트스페이스, 서울, 2019), <OUT OF PLACE>(Subhashok the Arts Centre,방콕, 2019), <제주비엔날레_투어리즘>(제주도립미술관, 제주, 2017), <System planning>(상상마당, 서울, 2015) 등 다수의 그룹전에 참여하였다.

As a flaneur, Hyemin plays and strolls around a city, observing the city, inviting people to take part in her works and collaborating with people engaged in the course of her performance. These passers-by become a critical part of her work through which they both collaborate to create something artistically meaningful and memorable. In terms of the working methodology, she observes everyday life and its structure, and new discoveries often encourage her desire of communication through providing a stage where reality and fiction are mingled together to suggest a situation to be questioned.

Hyemin graduated from Ewha Womans University, BA in Fine Art and Chelsea College of Arts and Design, MA Fine Art. Hyemin's solo exhibitions have included <Ordinary nations>(Space55, Seoul, 2019), <Way of leaving>(Space CAN, Seoul, 2016), <IKEA>(SongEun Art Cube, Seoul, 2012). And she participated in various group exhibitions and residency programs including <Imagining Cities Beyond Technology 2.0>(SongEun Art Space, Seoul, Korea, 2019), <Out of Place>(Subhashok the Arts Centre, Bangkok, Thailand, 2019), <2017 Jeju Biennale: Tourism>( Jeju Museum of Art, Jeju, 2017), <System planning>(Sangsangmadang, Seoul, 2015).
