도로시엠 윤은 부산에서 태어나 이화여자대학교 조형예술대학 조소과 학사와 대학원에서 공부를 하고 영국 골드스미스 순수예술학 석사를 졸업하였다. 국내외 6여차례의 개인전과 40여차례의 단체전을 가진바 있고 2019 제58회 May You Live In Interesting Times 베니스비엔날레, 스와치 faces 2019 pavilion(아세널)에서 전시를 참여하였다. 서울시립미술관 난지창작스튜디오, 국립현대미술관 고양창작미술스튜디오를 비롯해 프랑스 CEAAC, 스페인 Bilbaoarte등 해외 유수의 레지던시에 참가하였으며 서울시립미술관과 국립현대미술관에 작품이 소장되어 있다. 또한 2020년11월 한국인작가 최초로 스와치시계 2개를 출시하였다.

Dorothy M. Yoon was born in Busan and studied at Ewha Womans University's College of Sculpture and Sculpture and graduated from Goldsmiths Fine Arts, UK.
